Ravet was PCMC’s "affordable alternative to Wakad" back in 2009 — it has since filled in with dense townships along the Pavana River and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
Ravet fronts the Pavana River, not the Indrayani — a detail several listings get wrong. Confirm any river-view claim against the actual project address.

A 2009 Pune real-estate trade blog quoted Pharande Spaces’ CEO marketing Ravet on proximity to Bajaj Auto, the Hinjewadi IT parks and D Y Patil College — at rates around ₹2,300–2,600/sq ft, explicitly positioned as cheaper than Wakad next door. PCNTDA (the area’s development authority at the time) laid roads, water and power infrastructure ahead of private construction, which is a large part of why Ravet filled in as quickly as it did.
Today Ravet reads as one of PCMC’s more built-out "gateway" suburbs — dense with mid- and high-rise townships, fronting the Pavana River (the Sant Tukaram Bridge crosses it here), and increasingly compared to Punawale and Tathawade rather than treated as their cheaper cousin.
Two current portal averages broadly agree on Ravet’s range — but both sit far above the 2009 baseline, illustrating how much this pocket has appreciated.
| Period / Source | Avg. ₹/sq ft (approx.) | Note |
|---|---|---|
| 2009 (trade press) | ₹2,300–2,600 | Marketed then as an affordable alternative to Wakad |
| Square Yards (2026) | ₹9,050–10,500 | Recent-transactions average sits toward the lower end of this range |
| NoBroker (Aug 2026) | ₹7,500–10,519 | Broadly consistent with Square Yards’ range |
That is roughly a 4x-plus nominal increase over 17 years, though we found no smooth year-by-year series connecting the two points — treat it as a "then vs. now" comparison, not a verified trend line.

No — that is a common mix-up. Ravet’s river frontage is on the Pavana River; the Indrayani is associated with Alandi and Dehu further north. Do not take a listing’s "riverside" claim at face value without checking which river it means.
Not currently — the nearest station is roughly 10 km away. Ravet is named as a proposed stop on a Nigdi–Chakan metro corridor extension whose revised route plan was completed in April 2026, but that corridor is still awaiting approval and is not funded or under construction — treat it as a possible future benefit, not a current one.
Square Yards and NoBroker give broadly similar recent ranges (roughly ₹7,500–10,500/sq ft), but both are averages across many projects and vintages — a specific new launch can sit well outside that range in either direction, so use it as context, not a quote.
